You And I Are Much More Than Can Be Put Into Words
I know how intense it is when spirit moves in our lives. From the burning desire to Know the unknown, to unexpected awakenings that turn your life upside down. I also know how isolating it is when the spirit moves in a non-orthodox way yet you’re surrounded by a very orthodox and fundamentalist culture.

Hi, I’m Jesse Jones, MA, LPCC—a counselor, father, and survivor. My path to becoming a counselor wasn’t easy or linear, but everyday I think about the sisters and brothers who are never made it out of spiritual psychosis or never integrated their own death experience.
My Journey Through Darkness
Years ago, my life was upended by a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and a near-death experience (NDE) that happened simultaneously. The aftermath was devastating—I spent two years in a state of psychosis, battling daily delusions and terrifying impulses. There were days I didn’t think I’d make it, but through that darkness, I found a resilience and strength I didn’t know existed.
Learning To Heal
For the first two years, I faced a daily battle to hold onto reality and manage my emotions, until I discovered a way to anchor myself into a reality that was stable. Then In 2013, I met a teacher who revealed to me, over the course of many years, the healing powers within.
In 2017, my journey shifted towards counseling when I stumbled upon Ken Wilber’s landmark book Integral Psychology. It was a revelation – my personal healing journey mirrored the universal process of counseling.
It turns out healing happens the same for all of us: by connecting us to a wise source of healing within. Inspired by this insight, I made the decision to become a counselor myself. My hope? To learn how to guide others on their own paths of healing through connection with their true self.
How I Can Help You
Today, I work with people who are navigating their own turning points. I see an innocent beautiful self in everyone… unless someone cuts me off in traffic. So often, when I make contact with that part of people, it’s the first time.
There is something traumatic about us empathetic and social creatures called humans that happens as a individualistic society shapes us to its will. True and compassionate parts us get locked in the unconscious.
well, If it was rejection that put that part in the underworld, then that part can be reborn by being truly seen and accepted. I’m here to help.
Let’s Move Forward Together
If you’re ready to take that next step, I’d be honored to walk with you.
